Therapy is often a blend of vulnerability, curiosity, and growth. It’s not always easy—but it is transformative. Together we create a safe, steady space to explore thoughts and feelings that may have been heavy to hold alone. We’ll notice patterns, gently reframe old beliefs, and practice skills for managing life’s ups and downs.
Over time, you may catch small (and then bigger) shifts: moments of clarity, kinder self-talk, more ease in your relationships, or the freedom to do life differently than before. I’ll be alongside you each step—encouraging, checking in, and adjusting the plan to fit what you need next.
Human first, technique second. Empathy, respect, and collaboration guide everything we do. From there, I integrate evidence-based methods—including DBT-informed skills, Brainspotting, and Animal-Assisted Play Therapy with my therapy dog, Benny—to support nervous-system regulation, emotional processing, and real-world skill-building.
Flexible & individualized. No two people heal the same way. We’ll tailor session structure, pace, and homework to what actually helps you.
Strengths-forward. We start with what’s already working—then add skills that stick in daily life.
Why I do this work
Curiosity led me here. Even as a kid, I sensed there was more to discover about how we connect—with ourselves and with each other. That thread wove through my training in psychology and therapy, through years of learning from clients, and into Ever After Counseling today. I remain grounded in one belief: healing happens through connection and compassionate, consistent support.
