Meet Kayla…

Originally from Pennsylvania, Kayla received her clinical training from the University of Pittsburgh before moving to Alaska in 2022. What began as a new adventure quickly became home.

What might a session with Kayla look like?

In her clinical work, Kayla brings genuine warmth, curiosity, and connection to the therapeutic space. She believes healing is rooted in feeling safe, understood, and supported, and she works collaboratively with each client to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and authenticity.

Kayla draws from attachment-based trauma work, EMDR therapy, parts work, and regulation-focused approaches to support teens and adults in healing and navigating life’s challenges. Her approach is strengths-focused and individualized, with an emphasis on helping clients better understand themselves, build meaningful regulation skills, and create lasting change.

A few of Kayla’s favorite things…

For Kayla, the outdoors is a haven—a place to reconnect, slow down, and recharge. She splits her time in Homer and loves exploring Alaska through hiking, biking, snowboarding, fishing, and picking blueberries. She is also a constant learner, always curious and seeking opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. When she’s not adventuring outside, Kayla enjoys the quieter moments of slowing down at home, usually with her old pup, Redfield, by her side.
